Visual identity (except logo) and brand book

Goal

London Travel Week, a brand of World Travel Market (WTM), is the largest festival supporting the global travel and tourism sector in the world, with industry parties, networking sessions, award ceremonies, launches and brand activation events. WTM already had a logo for the event, but needed a visual identity and brand book to be able to start promoting the event.

Solution

I was only given a logo, a description and two colours (sky blue and green) they wanted to use. The two colours weren’t harmonious with the logo, so I blended them into a gradient. I’ve created a library of harmonious pictures to build the look of the brand around this blue gradient. Also choosing fonts and a pattern I’ve created templates of ads and print material. Lastly, I’ve presented everything in a brand book with advice on how to use the brand elements. The book includes typography, colors, brand elements, an image library and layout examples.
